No. When a member pays £500, that is all they need to pay.
No. NE1 racing club promises to look after every member, and give everyone equal attention.
You will be emailed, and updated via our private chat group. There is likely to be a club letter sent every quarter, that is circulated to all members.
Yes, you can, we do ask for a call with one of the racing managers prior to a membership being taken out, just so we have a brief understanding on why the individual wishes to join NE1!
Great question, basically because we feel that northern racing is really starting to thrive and with the addition of Newcastle’s AW, the understanding of the horses, the trainers, and the tracks are something we are really starting to grasp. We also feel that the owner’s experience should involve watching their horses without to much cost involved, fuel etc.
NE1 racing club wants to have a member base of committed people, who thoroughly enjoy being part of what we do, and who knows one day we may all win a big race together like the Northumberland Plate, now there’s a thought!
The racing managers are Anthony and Peter, they both have a great knowledge base of northern racing, and are approachable and outgoing, joining the club with these guys at the helm will be excellent.
Great question, we will arrange with our trainers, specific days where members can come and have a cuppa, bacon butty and watch the horses work out. It will be a great eye-opener to the day to day running of the yard and help build the picture of what work goes in. You will also meet other owners who will be more than happy to chat and share stories and if any good chances are coming up.
